Our project “Countries and their flags” offered Grade 4 students engaging art activities that taught them geography, culture and design.
Children started by exploring the national flag of Lebanon, its symbolism and the significance of its colours. Then, they revised the names of the countries in English and drew their favorite flags.
The project encouraged 4th graders to find out more about global geography. It also
deepened students’ appreciation for their country’s symbols while fostering creativity.
