College De La Salle -Amman Awarded the Green Flag “Eco-Schools”

We are proud to announce that our school, De La Salle College – Amman, has been awarded the Green Flag within the Eco-Schools program.

Representatives from the Royal Marine Conservation Society, the Environmental Police, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Environment visited the school, touring it with students and members of the Environmental Committee to learn about the outstanding environmental activities and projects implemented within the school.

A large group of students and teachers worked on several initiatives aimed at raising environmental awareness, including: • Collecting plastic bottles and paper for recycling (Green Wheels)

• A drawing competition about climate change

• Designing a model of an eco-friendly house

• Integrating environmental projects into the curriculum

• Recycling and creating a mural from plastic bottle caps

• Student-led awareness lectures on preserving the school environment

• Designated bins for recycling plastic bottle caps and paper The Green Flag, the highest environmental certification in the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) Eco-Schools program, was awarded to schools that earned the title of “Eco-School” for the 2025/2026 academic year on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
