GEN-YOUTH Erasmus+ partners: online meeting

On 14–15 May 2026, the GEN-YOUTH Erasmus+ partners met online for an International Peer-Learning Meeting focused on strengthening youth organisations and improving youth employability across the South Mediterranean region.

Representing the District of Proche-Orient, Lebanon, the meeting was attended by Mr. Gilbert Hallal, Director of Collège Mont La Salle, Mr. Waguih Hanna, Fundraising Officer, and Fr. Louis Mjalli, Coordinator of Mission.

During the meeting, partners discussed the first OCAP Action Plans, exchanging good practices and identifying key priorities such as governance, digital readiness, sustainability and inclusive employability services for young people. Discussions also highlighted the importance of mentorship systems, employability coaching, labour-market-oriented training, and stronger cooperation between youth organisations and employers.

Despite the postponement of the Study Visit in Lebanon due to the regional security situation, the consortium reaffirmed its commitment to continue building stronger opportunities for young people through cooperation, innovation and capacity building.

Together, GEN-YOUTH continues working towards more inclusive and sustainable pathways for youth empowerment and employment.
