On Monday, January 20, 2025, Frere School – Bethlehem had the honor of welcoming Brother Habib Zraibi, the General Visitor of Lasallian Schools. The visit commenced with a meeting between Brother Zraibi and the school principal, followed by a gathering with the school supervisors and administrative staff. During the meeting, he listened to updates on the school’s operations and shared his guidance and instructions.
As part of his visit, Brother Zraibi inaugurated the newly established playground, generously funded by the “Lajee” Foundation. To celebrate the occasion, kindergarten students performed a delightful program featuring songs, traditional dabke dances, and cheerful routines that brought joy to the audience. The “Lajee” Center also presented an engaging performance that included sports activities, gymnastics, and acrobatics, which were highly admired by those in attendance.
Brother Zraibi then toured the school facilities, observing the progress and developments firsthand.
The visit culminated in a special event titled “Lasallian Spirit,” which featured a variety of presentations led by teacher Tamara Hanania. The program included welcoming speeches in English, French, and Arabic, showcasing the school’s multicultural and linguistic excellence.
The school choir, under the direction of music teacher Mr. Ibrahim Khair, enriched the event with a selection of songs, complemented by oud performances by talented students, adding a unique and artistic touch to the celebration.
The event concluded with the screening of a documentary film that highlighted the activities of the school’s Pastoral Council, providing an inspiring reflection of the school’s mission and achievements.
