The Debate Center at College Des Frères Beit Hanina recently hosted the debate finals, which included the participation of three schools: the Armenian School, Schmidt School, and College Des Freres Beit Hanina.
Two juries were on hand to evaluate the participating teams, while parents, teachers, and administrators from each school also attended. The event was a resounding success, and all those involved should be commended for their hard work and dedication.
Debate is an incredibly valuable activity for high school students, as it helps them develop essential skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and research. These skills are not only important for academic success, but also for personal and professional growth. In addition, debates help foster teamwork and collaboration, as students work together to prepare their arguments and respond to opposing viewpoints.
Finally, debates provide students with the opportunity to engage in respectful discourse and learn how to disagree with others in a constructive and meaningful way. The success of this event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all those involved, and special thanks should be given to Dr. Ingbourg Tiemann for her excellent supervision.
