Launch of the Social Solidarity Fund at Collège des Frères – Jerusalem
In keeping with this year’s global Lasallian theme, “Building a Fraternal World,” and inspired by its educational and humanitarian mission rooted in fraternity and solidarity, the Board of Trustees of Collège des Frères – Jerusalem, in cooperation with the school administration, has launched the Social Solidarity Fund.
This initiative aims to support families facing financial hardship by helping them cover their children’s school fees. In doing so, the Fund seeks to ensure that students can continue their education and preserve their right to quality learning within a Lasallian environment that values every person and safeguards human dignity.
The establishment of this Fund is a concrete expression of the theme “Building a Fraternal World.” True fraternity cannot remain merely a matter of words; it must be transformed into practical initiatives through which members of the community share responsibility and stand beside one another, particularly in times of hardship and challenge.
On this occasion, the Board of Trustees and the school administration extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the companies, institutions, and individuals whose generous contributions made it possible to establish and launch the Fund. Their support reflects their confidence in the school’s mission, their commitment to assisting students and their families, and their desire to help build a future founded on greater justice, solidarity, and fraternity.
The school hopes that, through the continued support of generous benefactors, the Fund will grow and sustain its mission—keeping the door to education open for every student and ensuring that Collège des Frères – Jerusalem remains a living space of fraternity, hope, and service to others.
