On 2 May, a total of 139 participants—including students, teachers, and Young Ambassadors of Peace—from various schools within the Living Peace network came together to participate in the inspiring RUN 4 UNITY event.
Participating institutions included:
1. Rosary School – Marj Al-Hamam,
2. Rosary School – Al-Misdar,
3. De La Salle College,
4. Al Saadah College School,
5. Rosary College School – Shmeisani
6. Focolare Movement – Jordan.
This year’s slogan, “Choose to Dialogue,” highlighted a powerful message. In the face of today’s challenges, participants embraced dialogue as a concrete choice—one that builds bridges, overcomes divisions, and fosters peace in everyday life.
During this meaningful gathering, participants shared a symbolic walk, engaged in interactive games, and joined in a heartfelt Time Out moment of prayer for peace. The activities continued with the planting of grape trees at Our Lady of Peace Center, leaving a lasting symbol of hope, growth, and unity.
The event was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere, where students and teachers enjoyed meaningful moments together, strengthening bonds and living the true spirit of unity. See less
