College De La Salle Frères, represented by Dr. Raeda, General Director, together with the De La Salle Brothers and the academic teaching team, proudly hosted the OxfordAQA International GCSE Teacher Workshop on the 12th of February — reaffirming its longstanding leadership in education and unwavering commitment to academic excellence and international standards.
The workshop focused on International GCSE English as a Second Language and International GCSE French, providing valuable assessment insight and curriculum guidance aligned with OxfordAQA specifications.
The sessions were delivered by Andy Giles, Chief Examiner at OxfordAQA, offering in-depth examiner perspectives and practical assessment strategies.
We were also pleased to welcome Noëlle Henein, Schools Relationship Manager for Jordan & Africa at Oxford University Press and OxfordAQA, whose collaboration and engagement contributed significantly to the success of the event.
Our English and French language teachers, alongside their coordinators, actively participated in professional discussions, exchanged best practices, and explored refined approaches to further enhance student performance and teaching excellence.
Hosting such distinguished academic events reflects College De La Salle’s enduring educational legacy and its continued role in supporting and elevating the wider teaching community in Jordan.
We extend our sincere appreciation to OxfordAQA and Oxford University Press for their valued partnership and look forward to continued collaboration.
