On August 26, 2024, the general meeting of the teaching staff was held. The meeting began with a remembrance of Brother Rafael González, may he rest in peace, and all the support he used to provide to all our schools at the beginning of each year. The main points discussed in the meeting were as follows:
* The importance of this academic year, 2024-2025, was highlighted, as it is considered the “Year of Lasallian Spirituality” due to our celebration of the 300th anniversary of the institution’s recognition in 1724, as well as the 75th anniversary of the Vatican’s declaration in 1950 that Saint John Baptist de La Salle is the patron saint of teachers.
* Following this, all administrative and educational matters related to the new academic year were discussed.
* Emphasis was placed on the theme of this year and practical ways to implement it: “Our heart is in the peripheries.”
