Frères Secondary School in Jerusalem welcomed Sister Simona Brambilla, Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life at the Vatican, accompanied by the First Secretary, Sister Tiziana, during a special visit to the school.
During the meeting, they discussed the school’s current situation and the challenges it faces. The guests then visited the school museum, which contains historical items from the old school, and viewed the archaeological remains on site, including the Roman tower from the first century and the Crusader fortress from the eleventh century.
The guests also visited the Frères rooftop, the highest point in the Old City of Jerusalem, where they enjoyed a remarkable panoramic view of the Holy City.
The visit concluded with artistic performances by the students, including the dabke troupe, the oriental dance group, and the school choir. At the end of the visit, Brother Daoud Kassabry, the school principal, presented the guests with a commemorative gift marking the school’s 150th jubilee.
