Called to Holiness: In the Company of the Lasallian Saints

All Saints’ Day | November 1

Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints, a joyful remembrance of the countless men and women who have faithfully lived the Gospel and now share in the glory of God’s presence.

Among them, we give special honor to St. John Baptist de La Salle, our Founder, and to the Lasallian Saints and Blesseds—St. Benilde Romançon, St. Mutien-Marie Wiaux, St. Miguel Febres Cordero, St. Solomon Leclercq, St. Jaime Hilario with the Martyrs of Turon, and the many holy Brothers, teachers, students, affiliates, and Lasallian partners who have reflected God’s light through their vocation of faith and service.

We venerate them not simply for their extraordinary deeds, but because they reveal what holiness looks like in the ordinary rhythm of daily life: teaching with patience, serving with humility, and loving with perseverance. Their lives remind us that sanctity is not distant or unreachable; it is a call addressed to each of us, wherever we are, in whatever mission God entrusts to us.

As we honor them today, let us ask for their intercession, that we may live with the same spirit of faith, zeal, and communion, and become signs of God’s love in our communities. May their example lead us closer to Christ, who is the source and goal of all holiness.

St. John Baptist de La Salle and all Lasallian Saints and Blesseds, pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts, forever.
