A Week of Lasallian Exchange in Lebanon
This week, a delegation from Collège de La Salle – Amman, Jordan, led by Dr. Raeda Qussar, along with supervisors and pastoral and extracurricular coordinators, had the privilege of visiting several Lasallian schools in Lebanon.
During our visit, we explored the administrative and educational strategies, tools, and resources of these schools, observed classroom practices, and engaged with students and teachers. We were inspired by the talent, autonomy, and creativity demonstrated by the learners, as well as the dedication of the staff in nurturing a vibrant educational environment.
Highlights of our week included:
Visits to kindergarten, primary, middle, and secondary sections, with immersive classroom experiences.
Exchanges with students, class representatives, and teachers, observing innovative teaching approaches.
Participation in and observation of cultural and extracurricular activities, including theater performances and student-led initiatives.
Meetings with school leaders and pastoral teams, discussing pedagogy, school culture, and Lasallian values.
The week concluded with warm hospitality and shared meals, reflecting the spirit of Lasallian fraternity and collaboration.
This enriching experience strengthened our bonds with our Lebanese colleagues and provided valuable insights into best practices in education, student engagement, and community-building.
