Holy Mass Celebration – Commemorating the Presence of the Brothers in the Holy Land and the Foundation of Our School ✨

On September 28, 2025, a Holy Mass was celebrated to commemorate the presence of the Brothers in the Holy Land and the foundation of our school.

The celebration was a truly blessed and memorable occasion, attended by many priests and bishops from different churches, and presided over by His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.

At the beginning of the celebration, Brother Visitor Habib warmly welcomed all attendees, expressing his joy at seeing the Lasallian family — Brothers, teachers, students, parents, and friends — united in faith and gratitude.

Also present were Brother George and all the Brothers from the Holy Land, representing the communities of Jaffa, Bethlehem University, and Jerusalem, along with the Consul General of France, the Ambassador of Mexico, and many other distinguished guests who joined the school community in prayer and thanksgiving.

In his inspiring address, His Beatitude the Patriarch emphasized the importance of education as a cornerstone for peace, human dignity, and growth. He also paid tribute to the remarkable work of the Brothers, honoring their 150 years of dedicated service in the Holy Land and their unwavering commitment to the Lasallian mission of faith, education, and service.

Before the conclusion of the celebration, Brother Visitor Habib and Brother Daoud, the school director, presented tokens of appreciation to several priests who were once students in the Brothers’ schools, as a gesture of gratitude and pride in the enduring impact of Lasallian education.

At the end of the ceremony, Brother Daoud offered heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Beatitude the Patriarch, the bishops, the Brothers, the honored guests, and all who took part, recognizing their presence and support as a true blessing for the school community.

The celebration concluded with a joyful agape meal, a beautiful moment of fellowship and shared happiness that crowned this special and historic day.
