Fratelli Newsletter

Dear Friends and supporters,
Welcome to another inspiring edition of our Fratelli Newsletter. This issue is filled with powerful stories of growth, protection, learning, and community spirit that reflect the heartbeat of our mission. From safeguarding initiatives and transformative excursions to celebrating milestones and saying farewell to our beloved volunteers, this month has been unforgettable.

Safeguarding remains at the core of everything we do. Beyond training and codes of conduct, we are proud to share how safeguarding principles are now embedded into classroom activities. Through stories, roleplays, and games, our students learn about their rights, safety, and respectful relationships in ways that are age-appropriate and engaging. These daily practices ensure our learning environment stays safe, nurturing and empowering.

Wings 15 Excursion

Adventure, Autonomy, and Connection
Our Wings 15 students embarked on a meaningful excursion, a march from the Fratelli Center to a public garden near the Saida football stadium. It was a day of adventure, camaraderie, and practical learning. We played team games, explored the concept of autonomy, and shared joyful moments over snacks.

One student shared during reflection: « It was the first time in my life I returned with all my classmates and friends on a bus—it felt like one big family. » Another said, « I never imagined walking across the highway would be possible, but we did it safely by working as a team and protecting each other. »

These reflections speak volumes about the impact of this outing, not just as a break from routine, but as an experience of empowerment and togetherness.

Parents’ Meeting

Building Bridges with Families

We hosted a meaningful parents’ meeting this month, emphasizing the importance of integrating families into the educational and social growth of our children. Parents shared their views, discussed concerns, and collaborated with our teachers to build a unified path forward. Together, we strengthen the pillars of learning and inclusion.

Vocational Training Graduation

A Step Toward the Future

We celebrated the achievements of our vocational training students during their graduation ceremony. Their hard work and determination over the past months have prepared them for productive and dignified futures. The celebration was a tribute to resilience, dreams, and the continuous journey of self-development.

Youth in Action

Football & More
Our football tournaments and diverse activities across programs brought out the best in our youth—teamwork, discipline, and joy. These experiences are not just about sports, but about building confidence, friendships, and healthy routines.
Obrigado from the heart!
We said goodbye to two amazing volunteers, José and Teresa, whose kindness and dedication touched the hearts of our children and staff. Their contribution to the Fratelli family has left a lasting mark. Thank you for sharing your journey with us—you will always be part of our story.
