Fratelli: bringing hope, connection, and support to those who need it most.

Dear Friends and supporters

In these challenging times, as the sounds of destruction echo through our streets and uncertainty looms large, we have decided to act, inspired by our mission to stand with the children and families of Lebanon. After our recent meeting, the community came together with one clear goal: to bring hope, connection, and support to those who need it most.

This Monday, we opened the doors of our Center from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PMMonday to Friday, for children aged 5 to 14. We know that our children are living through unimaginable fear and confusion. That’s why we’ve created a safe space where they can come together, accompanied by dedicated tutors, to play, draw, and participate in group activities that help them express themselves and experience joy, even amidst hardship.

In addition to this, we are organizing humanitarian aid efforts to meet the most urgent needs of our community. We will be handling everything from food and clothes distribution to ensuring families receive the necessary materials to navigate these difficult times. We are also working in collaboration with other institutions that support individuals displaced by the war. One of our key missions is to help alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in our region.

We are also conducting family visits and psychosocial support, where our team personally assesses each family’s situation to offer meaningful and tailored support.

During our meeting, Br. Juan Carlos presented this plan to the team and acknowledged the difficulty of asking for onsite help, especially with the current war and uncertainty. Despite the risks, the Fratelli spirit shone brightly. Our educators, teachers, assistants, and staff rose to the occasion with unwavering positivity and a shared belief in our mission. They offered their time, energy, and hearts to keep this initiative alive.

But we can’t do it alone. Now, more than ever, we need your support to continue this work.

Join us in keeping the light of hope alive for the children of Lebanon. Together, we can create small moments of joy during chaos, and show our children that no matter what, they are never alone.

Warm regards,
Fratelli Project Team

As conflict escalates in Lebanon, José and Teresa remind us of the power of fraternity and resilience. Even as daily life is disrupted, the Fratelli mission continues to provide hope and support to vulnerable families.

Your prayers, messages, and support are making a difference!
