There really is so much to process about our time in the Holy Land and all that we have learned about the situation here in addition to better understanding and appreciating the incredible Lasallian ministry taking place. For now, I share that our final full day concluded with praying the rosary at the wall marking one of the annexed areas. Truly a powerful and moving experience taking in a week of various encounters and learning so much about the plight of a suffering resilient people. It is so good we are here.
Grateful for the faithful and faith-filled witness of our Brothers in the Holy Land. Words I often heard this past week included: witness, uncertainty, unpredictable, hope, injustice, and needed presence. It was a truly profound encounter for me and I leave filled with gratitude for the way our Lasallian mission is responding to the difficult realities present here, inspired by the hope-filled witness of many, and determination to support our ministry taking place here. Thank you, Brothers! Thank you, Lasallians! Thank you, young people!
